Role: Research Fellow

Owiti is a Research Fellow providing support to the CCKE. His background includes undergraduate and MSc. degrees in Meteorology from the University of Nairobi and a Ph.D. in Climate System and Global Change from Najing University of Information, Science and Technology. His interests include integration of climate information and products in policy development, planning and practice in various sectors. He has previously been deployed to a number of humanitarian organizations as a climate change adaptation and resilience specialist within the framework of the Norwegian Capacity and the Global Framework for Climate Services.
