Role: Researcher

Yves’ research focuses on studying how evolutionary processes shaped population and genome diversity. His research group at the Research Institute for Development (IRD) focuses primarily on cultivated crops and their wild relatives. With cultivated crops, they also seek to understand how human activities and historical events shaped their diversity. Yves holds a Master in Ecology and Evolution from University Montpellier II, France and a Ph.D. from the University of Burgundy.
