Role: Early Career Researcher

Weruwetsa is completing his MSc. in Environmental Technology and Management. His research is titled, “Processes for Climate Change Adaptation Planning in the Water Sector: A Case of Kilombero Sub-catchment in Rufiji River Basin, Tanzania.” The proposed research intends to identify gaps in policymaking processes for climate change adaptation within the water sector. Uncertainty regarding the pace, extent and impacts of climate changes, makes policy decision-making more complex and the need for sector policies to be appropriately informed by scientific knowledge.
