Role: Co-Principal Investigator
Robert is a Professor of Hydroclimatic Modelling in the Department of Geography at Loughborough University. His research is on managing freshwater environments under climate variability and change, including reconstruction of drought and flood indices to assess the severity of recent extreme events. Current research explores smarter approaches to climate risk assessment and decision-making under uncertainty. On-going projects include seasonal river flow forecasting for hydropower plants in Central Asia.
