Role: Research Fellow

Julio is the research fellow and provides technical support for the Future Climate For Africa Project. He previously worked at Climate Systems Analysis Group (CSAG), where he was involved in a project that explores the impacts of and adaptation to climate change in the value chain for key grain and fruit sectors in South Africa. Julio holds a BSc. in Environmental and Geographical Science and a BSc. (Hons) and MSc. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Cape Town. His postgraduate research branched between climate science and viticulture as he explored drought impacts on grape production.
