Role: Project Manager

Gabriela is HyCRISTAL Project Manager and water@leeds Coordinator. She facilitates the development of multidisciplinary partnerships involving academics and government agencies, NGOs and SME’s to find solutions for water-related issues. She has an MSc. in Rural Development and Natural Resources from ECOSUR (Mexico) and a Ph.D. in Plant Ecophysiology from the University of Sheffield (UK). Her research interests include natural resources management, research network facilitation, climate change, tropical forests, ecoinformatics and data-driven decision making.
