Emmanuel holds a BSc. in Environmental Science from the University of Malawi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Gender Studies from the University of Iceland. Emmanuel is currently pursuing an MSc. in Climate Change and Development at the University of Cape Town and a recipient of the FCFA innovation grants. His thesis is focused on the attribution question of increasing flood frequency and intensity to either or both climate change (changes in rainfall) and/or land use and cover change in the Shire River Basin in Malawi.
