The open-access book, “Climate RIsk in Africa – Adaptation and Resilience” published in January 2021 by Palgrave Macmillan captures experiences from the major Future Climate for Africa (FCFA) programme that aims to promote more effective use of climate information in resilience building and adaptation action across sub-Saharan Africa. The work demonstrates a need to blend insights from climate science about what the future climate will look like with experiences of the social science of response through adaptation, based on insights from practical applications in a variety of contexts.
