The Future Climate for Africa’s East Africa-focused research team – ‘Integrating hydro-climate science into policy decisions’ or ‘HyCRISTAL’ –  is pleased to announce that its next major consortium meeting will take place in Kisumu, Kenya from 28^th November to 2^nd December 2016. The intention is to meet with project partners and other interested individuals and organisations to discuss how climate and hydrological information can strengthen development decision-making in the region. Like earlier meetings, the event will target a broad range of stakeholders from around East Africa. The last event, held in September 2015, was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda – see the Honourable Prime Minister’s speech here.
