The Future Climate for Africa’s East Africa-focused research team – ‘Integrating hydro-climate science into policy decisions’ or ‘HyCRISTAL’ –  is pleased to announce that its next major consortium meeting will take place in Kisumu, Kenya from 28th November to 2nd December 2016.
The intention is to meet with project partners and other interested individuals and organisations to discuss how climate and hydrological information can strengthen development decision-making in the region.
Like earlier meetings, the event will target a broad range of stakeholders from around East Africa. The last event, held in September 2015, was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda – see the Honourable Prime Minister’s speech here.
